Main body of the band is made of 3 layered laminated material with a thickness of 3mm(+-0,5mm).
The surface touching the skin is made of cotton textile, the middle layer is sponge to provide elasticity and smootness, and the surface facing the outside is raised jersey textile to hold the velcro hooks easily and securely
In two pieces model, sticker velcro is wrapped around the tube at the desired location, band wraps over the velcro, binds and fixes the endotracheal tube by the narrow part of the short band.
The long band is placed at the back of the neck and wraps around the sides of the neck to be connected with the front short band.
Two pieces structure eliminates the need to lift up the patient’s head for every change and/or usage after the first application.
Band grips the velcro sticker on the tube (cannula), grips it safely and prevent it from sliding off.
Can be used with all brands and models of tubes (cannulas) in order to achive this, the length of the part of the band wrapped around the tube is 13 cm (+ -1 cm) and the width is 2 cm (+ -0.5 mm).
